Have questions? Here's the most frequently asked.

Are car seats allowed?

No, there are no seat belts on the bus. No babies are allowed on the bus. No refunds will be issued for tickets purchased for small children.

Can I get on and off the bus throughout the tour?

The experience is not ‘hop on/hop off’. However, we do offer a 15 minute break midway through the tour.

Can we bring alcoholic beverages on the bus?

Yes, but only beer and wine is allowed by North Carolina state law. Passengers may be asked to provide a valid ID to ensure they are 21 years of age or older. If you bring a cooler on-board the bus it must fit on your lap. All beverages must be closed when you board the bus and no open containers will be allowed off the bus. You may also purchase beer and wine inside Sam’s Quik Shop.

How do I purchase tickets?

You can purchase tickets for our tours 2 ways: online or over the telephone. Buying tickets in advance is the only way to guarantee seating. Reservations are strongly suggested, as most tours do sell out. Tickets can be purchased at the time of boarding if seating is available.

How is seating arranged?

Seating is on a first come first served basis. If you have a ticket you have a seat and there isn’t a bad seat on the bus. If you have a group of 6 or more, arrive at least 30 minutes before departure time or call the office to make prior seating arrangements.  If you do not make prior arrangements or arrive early there is a chance your party will be split up.

I came from Boston to visit my friend that just moved down here. We had an awesome time. Brandon was hysterical. We were laughing the entire time! Plus we didn't realize there was so much history in Durham!
